I was not quite sure what to expect when I ordered this, but my 90 year old mother is mostly housebound now, and I was looking for things that I thought would entertain her.I think this will do nicely. for that purpose. There are not as many pictures as I would have expected, and the vintage photos of Westies are indeed vintage, approximately from the turn of the last century (some of Col. Malcom's dogs were shown). However, the same photos are repeated a number of times throughout the pages.
The main body of this book are vintage writings about dogs, but not about Westies in particular; just about dogs in general. I have not seen any of the other breed 'Vintage Dog Scrapbook's offered, but I suspect that the writing is probably the same, just the photos and some artwork used are likely breed specific.
Text ranges from 'Tribute to A Dog -- 1200 A.D.', to 'An Outcast In Hell (or, The Dog Poisoner)', 'The Good Dog', 'Pity the Sick Dog', 'A Dog's Prayer for His Master', and verse by Albert Payson Terhune ('Lad of Sunnybank'), Lord Byron, Aesop, Swift, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Benvenuto Cellini, Washington Irvine, St. Roche (Patron Saint of Dogs), Oliver Wendell Holmes, and a host of others.
It is a paperback, pages are unnumbered, but I would estimate that there are at least a hundred.

Excellent book with many old photos. The only thing I did not realize is the text was the same in all breeds.
